Community Development Block Grant Program and
HOME Investment Partnership Program Grant Application
Amarillo, TX – The City of Amarillo is pleased to announce a Grant Application Workshop for the 2014 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and the HOME Investment Partnership Program (HOME). CDBG and HOME are programs funded by the U.S.
Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The purpose of these programs is to develop viable communities by providing decent housing, suitable living environments, and expanded economic opportunities for persons of low and moderate income.
Community organizations and agencies seeking CDBG and HOME funding for Fiscal Year 2014 should attend. The Application Workshop will be held Monday, Feb. 24 from 2 to 5 p.m. in Room 306 at City Hall, located at 509 SE 7th Avenue. This workshop will provide guidance on eligible funding activities under the CDBG and HOME
programs and instructions in completion of the application for funding. The application will be available to all interested parties on Feb. 24.
