 Service and Information
 Amarillo Zoo
 The City provides a zoo for citizens and visitors. It is located in Thompson Park at N.E. 24th and Highway 287, Dumas Drive. Zoo operations and fees are: Open Monday thru Sunday. 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Admission $3.00 adults, $2.00 seniors, $1.00 children on Tuesday - Sunday. Free day on Mondays. Scheduled tours are available. For more information call 378-3036.
 Athletic Field Reservations
 All athletic field reservations including baseball, softball, and flag football may be made by calling the Amarillo Parks and Recreation Department at 378-9301.
 Baseball
 For information regarding youth baseball call the Amarillo YMCA at 374-4651.
 Basketball Leagues, Adult
 November 1 - February 1 offered by the Parks and Recreation Department call 378-9301.

 Comanche Trail Golf Course
 Located at 4200 S. Grand St. 378-4281. Annual permits, golf carts, lessons, pro shop, and driving range are available.
 Fishing
 Fishing is available at City lakes: Martin Road Lake, 15th and Martin Road; Southeast Lake, 46th and Osage; and Medical Center Lakes, 9th and Wallace Blvd. For more information call 378-3036. For fishing license requirements contact the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department at 379-8900.
 Flag Football
 Adult Leagues only, with the season running from September through November. For information call the Parks and Recreation Department at 378-9301.
 Golf Courses
 Ross Rogers located at 24th and N. Jefferson, 378-3086; Comanche Trail located at 4200 S. Grand St., 378-4281. Annual permits, golf carts, lessons, pro shop, and driving range are available at both Golf Courses.
 Memorial Park Gazebo and Basement Rental
 The Gazebo in Memorial Park is available to the public. The basement area below the Gazebo has a reception area with a kitchen and is also available to the public. Call 378-3036 for rental fees and reservations.
 Municipal Swimming Pools
 Pool sites: Southeast Pool, S.E. 34th and Osage; Southwest Pool, S.W. 48th and Bell; Thompson Pool, in Thompson Park at N.E. 24th and Highway 27, Dumas Drive; and Bones Hooks Pool, N.W. 21st and Hughes. For all municipal pool information call the Parks and Recreation Department at 378-9391. Discount passes, swimming lessons, Jr. Lifeguard Program, family nights, and pool parties are available. Regional pools Southwest and Thompson are open from 12:00 noon to 6:00 p.m. and Southeast Pool is open from 12:00 noon to 6:00 p.m. Bones Hooks Pool is open from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. All pools are open everyday from June through August.
 Park Buildings and Ground Maintenance
 To report vandalism or the need for maintenance call Parks Maintenance at 378-6823.
 Park Reservations
 To reserve an area in a City park call 378-3036. There is a fee for guaranteed reservations. Sheltered areas require a deposit.
 Rain Out Information
 For all athletic leagues call 378-4289 after 4:00 p.m.

 Located at 24th and N. Jefferson, 378-3086. Annual permits, golf carts, lessons, pro shop, and driving range are available at both golf courses.
 Shooting Complex
 The Amarillo Shooting Complex is located at 16700 Bezner Road by the City Landfill. From Amarillo, take I-40 West to Arnot Road. Take Arnot Road exit and continue west on the I-40 service road for approximately one mile. Turn right on S. Hill Road and go two miles north to Bezner Road. Turn left. The Shooting Complex is located one-half mile on the right.
 Soccer Leagues

 Softball, Adult
 There are several leagues and two seasons for adult softball. Spring and Summer, April 15 - July 1; Fall, August 12 - October 15. For more information call 378-9301.

 Starlight Theater
 During the summer, local groups provide musical performances in Sam Houston Park. For information call 378-9391.
 Summer Recreation Program
 The Parks and Recreation Department provides a variety of programs for youth in seventeen neighborhood parks during the day and three gyms during the evening hours. Some of the activities offered include daily games, recreational and educational activities, the Fish Derby, Skyhoundz Canine Frisbee Disc Competition, and Starlight Theater. The program also makes available lunches for qualifying children who are dependent on the school lunch program during the regular school year.  Tennis

 Wonderland Park
 This amusement park, privately operated through a contract with the City, is located in Thompson Park at N.E. 24th and Highway 287, Dumas Drive. Twenty-five rides and thirty-two attractions. For more information call 383-4712.
