Administered by the Parks and Recreation Division; seven board members; meets the second Tuesday of every month at 1:30 PM in City Hall, 509 East 7th Avenue, 3rd floor, Room 306.

The P&R Commission makes recommendations to the City Commission in regard to the operation of the City's parks and recreational facilities and programs. The P&R Commission studies and encourages the development and use of parks and recreational facilities and programs. More specifically the P&R sets park rules and policies, reviews and recommends concession prices, considers agreements for placing items on park property, reviews park master plans. Further, the P&R reviews projects under construction and future planned projects and recommends rental rates for various park sites and activities throughout the City.
