Amarillo Local Government Corporation

Amarillo Local Government Corporation” (the "Corporation") is hereby authorized for the purpose of aiding, assisting, and acting on behalf of the City in the performance of its governmental functions to promote the development of the geographic area of the City, including but not limited to the vicinity of the downtown area, in furtherance of the promotion, development, encouragement, and maintenance of employment, commerce, convention and meeting activity, tourism, and economic development in the City and lawful purposes of the municipal government.
