 Box Office - Panhandle Tickets
 The Civic Center Box Office dba Panhandle Tickets is a full-service ticket distribution network featuring 12 outlets including United Supermarkets in Amarillo, Canyon, Borger, Dalhart, Dumas, and Pampa. Tickets are also available by calling the Civic Center Box Office (806) 378-3096 and online, www.panhandletickets.com.

 Civil Defense
 The Emergency Management Department provides information on national security programs and protective actions in the event of war.
 Community Disasters
 The Emergency Management Department has developed and maintains an up-to-date Hazard Analysis for the City of Amarillo including Potter and Randall Counties. This document is available for review at the Emergency Management Department Office located in City Hall. For information on emergency plans contact the Emergency Management Department. During a local disaster or emergency situation, listen to a local radio station or watch a local television station for specific, up-to-date information.
 Emergencies
 For information on community-wide emergencies or disaster plans call the Emergency Management Department. In the event of a community emergency see "Disasters." For general emergencies, such as fires, hazardous material releases, or crimes in progress call 911.
 Emergency Coordination
 The Emergency Management Department coordinates emergency plans with local businesses and private organizations. Also, see "Community Disasters."
 Emergency Planning Procedures
 Upon request, the Emergency Management Department will assist day care centers, schools, businesses, and nursing homes with the preparation of emergency plans and disaster response procedures. The Department also has information available for individuals to develop personal or family emergency plans for their homes.
 Emergency Preparedness Programs
 Upon request, the Emergency Management Department will perform programs on all aspects of Emergency Management and disaster preparedness. The Emergency Management Department has, free of charge, various pamphlets, booklets, and other materials concerning preparedness and protective actions that citizens can take to help them prepare for disaster situations.
 Hazardous Material Reporting and records
 The Emergency Management Department is the information coordination point for the Potter/Randall Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC). The Department maintains records of all companies reporting the presence of hazardous materials at their sites. All reported information is available to the public during normal working hours.
 Severe Weather/Natural Hazards
 The Emergency Management Department has coordinated the development of the Amarillo/Potter/Randall Emergency Operations Plan. The Plan is reviewed annually and updated or revised as necessary. As part of this plan the Department is required to maintain and activate all area warning systems (outdoor sirens, Emergency Alerting System, cable cut-in, and indoor warning monitors). For information on local emergency plans, to report severe weather, tornado sightings, or other natural hazards, or for information on the warning systems, call the Emergency Management Department. During severe weather events listen to a local radio station or watch a local television station for specific, up-to-date information on the storms movement and for tips on protective actions to take. If information is desired before a storm or other hazard occurs, contact the Emergency Management Department for information (see "Emergency Preparedness Programs").
 Volunteers, Emergency
 The Emergency Management Department coordinates activities of the Amarillo Emergency Service and other volunteer groups dedicated to emergency response in disasters.

 Airline Information
 The individual airlines should be contacted for fares, schedules, and other travel questions. Their numbers are listed in the telephone directory white pages or in the yellow pages under "Airline Companies."
 Airport Administration
 Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The office is located on the 2nd floor of the terminal building. For information call 335-1671. Lost and found is handled through this office.
 Airport Paging
 Paging is handled by the airlines. Call the airline upon which the traveler is arriving/departing. American - 335 3537, ASA - 335-3978, Southwest - 335-1164, and Continental - 335-2321.
 Airport Parking/Parking Garage
 There are 790 paved off-street and 654 covered parking garage parking spaces available for use on a fee basis by airport users. These parking spaces are available on a 24-hour basis. For information call Airport Parking Company of America (APCOA) dba Standard Parking at 335-1921.
 Airport Police Department
 For safety, security, emergency, and administrative items call 335-4403. Open 24 hours.
 Car Rentals
 Four national automobile rental agencies are located at the airport terminal: Avis, 335-2313; Advantage, 335-1500; Hertz, 335-2331; and National, 335-2311.
 General Aviation
 Tac-Air Aviation handles military, corporate, and private aircraft parking, fueling, and maintenance services. For information call 335-2806.
 Leasing
 To bid on a terminal franchise or to lease airport property, industrial sites, buildings, hangars, or facilities contact the Airport Administrative Offices at 335-1671. Amarillo International Airport coordinates efforts with the City Manager's Office and Amarillo Economic Development Corporation to offer assistance for construction of hangars, infrastructure improvements, training, and financing when considering locating a company at the Airport.
 Restaurant, Gift Shops and Lounge
 The restaurant, gift shop and lounge are operated by a private contractor. For information call 335-3631.
 U.S. Customs Office
 A U.S. Customs Department port of entry is located at the airport. For information or to request assistance call the Port Director at 335-3533.

 Book Returns
 Borrowed items can be returned to any Amarillo Public Library location 24 hours a day. Book drops are located at each library. Items may be borrowed from one Amarillo Public Library location and returned to another.
 Library Cards
 Library cards are free to residents, property owners, and business owners within the Amarillo City limits and are available to non-residents for a minimal annual fee.
 Telephone Renewals
 Borrowed items can be renewed over the telephone unless there is waiting list for a particular item.
 Online Renewals
 Borrowed items can also be renewed at the library's website, www.amarillolibrary.org/search.html by using the library card number as the User ID and the PIN number assigned by the Circulation Department.
 Memorials, Endowment Funds, and Gifts
 Honor a loved one by establishing a memorial or endowment fund in his or her name, or donate a gift to commemorate someone special on a birthday, anniversary, or other special occasion.
 Amarillo Public Library Advisory Board
 An advisory board of seven members is appointed by the Mayor and City Commission to ensure that Amarillo Public Library continues to meet the needs of the Amarillo Community.
 Friends of the Amarillo Public Library
 This organization exists to support the Amarillo Public Library in the form of financial assistance, volunteer service, and sponsorships of programs, events, and activities. For more information, to make a donation, or to join the Friends of the Amarillo Public Libary call 378-4245.
 Ask A Librarian
 Ask a reference question online by visiting www.amarillolibrary.org and clicking on "Resources" and "Ask A Librarian." Allow two working days for a response from a librarian.
 Adult Programs, Events, and Activities
 Amarillo Public Library presents a wide range of programs, activities, and events that are all free and open to the public. Many are planned independently while others are in conjunction with various community groups. For more information call 378-3051.
 Youth Programs, Events, and Activities
 Amarillo Public Library's Youth Department presents regular programs including story times, puppet shows, and crafts. Special programs including the Summer Reading Program and skits also take place each year. For more information on youth programs call 378-3089.
 Tours
 Library tours are available at each library location on a pre-scheduled basis for adults and youth.

 County Attorney
 Although various local courts will prosecute different degrees of crimes, the County Attorney will usually handle Class A and B Misdemeanors and Class C Misdemeanors that occur in unincorporated portions of the county, the District Attorney handles felonies, and Municipal Court handles Class C Misdemeanors that occur in the City limits.  District Attorney
 Potter and Randall counties each have a District Attorney. The District Attorney handles only the most serious crimes (felonies). These cases are filed in a District Court. Potter County District Attorney 379-2325; Randall County District Attorney 468-5600.
 Prosecutors
 The City Prosecutors' Office is located at 201 S.E. 4th Avenue. For answers to questions concerning the filing of criminal charges or legal questions concerning a citation call 378-3082.
     City Secretary

 Boards and Commissions
 To serve on a particular City board or commission, or to find out who the members of a City board or commission are contact the City Secretary.
 City Commission
 The City Secretary's Office maintains records and information concerning the City Commission and meetings. This office will also accept messages concerning City business for a City Commissioner or the Mayor.
 City Elections
 The City Secretary is responsible for all City elections. Anyone wishing to run for office or inquire about any City election or referendums, issues, offices, etc. should contact the City Secretary.
 Claim Inquiries
 If an individual experiences damage to their property caused by a City employee or action contact the City Secretary.
 Minutes, City Commission Meetings
 The City Secretary keeps minutes of all City Commission meetings open to the public. To review the minutes, or for information concerning the minutes, contact the City Secretary or visit our website at www.amarillo.gov.
 Ordinances
 The City Secretary maintains the official records and ordinances of the City. For copies or to review the ordinances and records contact the City Secretary. For official records of a particular department, contact that department directly. The Amarillo Municipal Code may be viewed on our website at www.amarillo.gov.
 Proclamations
 The City Secretary prepares and maintains records of proclamations passed by the City Commission. To have a proclamation prepared and considered by the City Commission contact the Assistant City Secretary at 378-3014.
 Resolutions
 Resolutions passed by the City Commission are maintained in the City Secretary's Office.
