 Community Health Assessment
 The Department has performed a community wide assessment of important public health problems and concerns. This assessment measures the size and seriousness of these health problems and identifies effective intervention methods to be taken to address the problem needs.  Health Planning

 HIV Prevention and Education
 HIV/AIDS counseling, education and testing services, in which confidentiality is insured, is provided by the Department. For more information or to request assistance contact the HIV Coordinator at 378-6331.
 J O Wyatt Community Health Center
 The health center operated by the Northwest Texas Healthcare System is located at 1411 Amarillo Boulevard East. Health services and programs provided to the community include outpatient medical visits, immunizations, prenatal services, pharmacy services, etc. For more information on services and programs provided call 351-7200.
 Public Health Education

 Refugee Screening and Services
 Clinical health assessments, education and counseling are available to immigrants new to the community. For more information on these services and programs available call 378-6339.
 Sexually Transmitted Disease Clinics

 Tuberculosis Control
