| Amarillo City Transit operates Monday through Saturday from 6:15 a.m. until 6:45 p.m. (Some routes depart on the last trip at 5:00 p.m.) | ||
| Bus Routes | ||
| Bus routes run from the downtown transfer point to most major shopping centers and the Medical Center. Buses run every half hour from 6:15 a.m. to 6:45 p.m. | ||

| Bus schedules may be obtained from the Transit office or will be mailed upon request. | ||
| Accessibility for Persons with Disabilities | ||
| The Advisory Commission for People with Disabilities considers matters related to improving accessibility for persons with disabilities and issues covered by the Americans with Disabilities Act. The Advisory Commission for People with Disabilities meets the first Thursday of each month at noon on an as needed basis in the Commission Chambers at City Hall. | The Transit System does not operate buses or the Special Transportation Service on Sundays or the following holidays: New Years Day, Martin Luther King Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day After Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. | ||
| Spec-Trans | ||
| This is a specialized transportation service operating within the City limits available to certified mobility impaired persons who are unable to utilize an accessible fixed route bus. There is no restriction for trip purposes. Hours of operation are 6:15 a.m. until 6:45 p.m. The service operates Monday through Saturday. The telephone number for reservations is 378-3095. TDD users may call 372-6234 to schedule service. | ||
